Hi,
Another small iteration. I've dropped the 4 digit version number because Windows Installer isn't a big fan of them.
Changes:
New installer, and I've added a button to the interface to change the preset.
Up until now I've been sharing early beta Milkdrop builds with a select few. I've now decided to move this from a private beta to a public beta.
Attached to this post is Milkdrop v3.0.0.7.
Please note:
This is still a beta build. It doesn't have configuration options, controls or anything like that. If it crashes, burns, eats your pet dog or something I am not responsible - I would however like to know about it so we can fix it.
So, the time has finally come.
I'm going to release a very early beta of Milkdrop for VDJ Windows x64.
A couple of caveats:
If you want to change the resolution you will have to restart the plugin completely. Easiest way is to quickly turn video off and on again. I will fix it in the future
Some presets render blank; looking into this
Some presets flicker; looking into this too
On the plus side, compared to the older Milkdrop plugins I released it should have much less impact on VDJ!
Let me know what you think.
Tweet as you play!

Mac M1 port of an existing plugin.
This plugin should be installed in the PluginsMacArm/AutoStart folder. It will then run on VDJ startup automatically. To configure it, select it in a master effect slot open it's settings. It won't be 'enabled' by default.
When enabled it will control the video crossfader instead of VDJ. I personally don't like the auto or linked video crossfader behaviours, instead favouring a smooth transition once the crossfader passes a certain point. This plugin achieves just that. Transition period is selectable in time or beats, and the cut point is adjustable too.
Someone requested this be converted to 64-bit, so here it is.
Burn v1.1 released.
No change on Mac
PC has fixed a flicker when interacting with VirtualDJ native functions like Shader and VideoSkins.
Please note that as Atomix have decided to discontinue the 32-bit version, I'm not going to go to the effort of compiling new plugins for it. Easier to maintain two versions than three!
PC version reuploaded as the original release was broken.
I'm releasing v1.0 of my Burn Video Transition for VirtualDJ PC and Mac.

Updated beta release with a fix for a memory leak.
As before:
It is only currently compatible with builds 6518 or later of VirtualDJ with Metal enabled.
This is an early beta testing build of SyphonServer for M1 Macs using Metal.
Extract the zip file in Documents/VirtualDJ/PluginsMacArm/VideoEffect/

A throwback to thetime when VirtualDJ's filter wasn't great; I created a replacement Filter plugin. Recently I was requested to recreate it for the 64-bit edition, and here it is!
